SkillUp is a program that can provide a number of options to help you succeed..... 

1.  On the job training or work experience,

2. Gain needed skills to secure a better paying job,

3. Attend classes, a year training, or gain a certificate that will help you and your family financially. 

This program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service and made available by the Department of Social Services/Family Support Division. If you are ready contact one of the Case Managers/Job Coaches, which will help you decide on your new career!

Caring Communities receives support from federal and state grants in the amount of $1,300,000 for FY26 for workfrorce programs.  In accordance with the Stevens Amendment, we disclose that $40,000 is financed by non‑federal or local sources. This disclosure applies to all public‑facing materials describing activities supported by these funds, including websites, social media, brochures, and training announcements. 

Caring Communities completed a Single Audit in 11/2026
